'MCT MATES NIGHT'

Local grassroots community group Men Care Too invites men and women in the North West of Tasmania to celebrate National Men's Health Week with our 'Mates Night' in Ulverstone.

Book your free ticket to join us at the Gnomon Pavillion on Wednesday June 15th from 6:30pm for some tasty Herb's Ulverstone Pizza's and a screening of the short Aussie film 'Mile an Hour'.

After the screening we are hosting a panel discussion on topics relevant to National Men's Health Week; 'balancing work and family life, managing finances, dealing with setbacks and planning for life after work'.

Our MCT 'MATES NIGHT' is funded by the North West Suicide Prevention Trial Site through Relationships Australia Tasmania. Men Care Too is proudly auspiced by The IRIS Foundation.

MATES COFFEE CLUB

Informal social and discussion hour for men who provide care and support to a family member or friend living with an illness or disability.

10am every Monday at McCarthy's Bread Lounge, Reibey Street Ulverstone.

MR. PERFECT BBQ

Simple, informal and completely inclusive. Mr Perfect BBQ's provide a chance to get out of the house, enjoy the sun, socialise, meet some great people and form a supportive community.

Railton BBQ - 2nd Sunday each month

Burnie BBQ - 4th Sunday of the month

THE MAN WALK

The Man Walk Ulverstone starting point McCarthy's Bread Lounge in Reibey St Ulverstone (next to Post Office) at 9am every Saturday morning.

 

The Man Walk Ulverstone is free, wheelchair friendly and open to men of all ages and life experience.  Each walk is around 45mins with an optional coffee upon return.
