Brave Launched

One in four Australians lives with a mental health challenge and most of us have family or friends who are affected. Talking about the way people live with, through and beyond a mental health challenge can be the most powerful way to support and encourage others.

Storytelling saves lives.

Men Care Too is working collaboratively with a number of local organisations to produce the inaugural ‘This Is My Brave Australia Show’ on the Central Coast during National Mental Health Month in October.

This Is My Brave Australia shows aim to break the stigma and stereotypes surrounding mental health challenges through storytelling, poetry, song, dance and creative expression live on stage.

Everyone has a story to share that could help others, no experience necessary. Auditions are a chance for potential cast members to meet with the show's production team and share their original story in a 5 minute time frame.

We have an Introduction to Storytelling Workshop being held on July 20th and auditions are being held on July 26+27. Please RSVP for the Storytelling workshop and Audition spots are available for booking via www.calendly.com/timbacentralcoast For more information about this show please watch our launch video below.

All inquiries please contact: mybravecentralcoast@gmail.com or 0400 604 231

PLEASE NOTE: Auditions are for people who would like to be part of the cast for the show. Further details including tickets to the show in October will be made available at a later date. *To audition you must be over 18yrs of age and understand that This Is My Brave Australia Shows are filmed and part of a mental health awareness campaign.
