The Allied Mates Forum is for management, administration, education, research, advisory, frontline and volunteer staff working in local primary health, social services and community settings to develop their existing professional knowledge and understanding of the key issues affecting men.

The Allied Mates Forum will feature snapshot presentations highlighting a number of local services and grassroots initiatives aimed at working with men.


Following the snapshot presentations there will be an opportunity to share ideas and discussion on issues relevant for local men informed by the Federal Government's National Men's Health Strategy 2020-2030 and the 'Making Services Work for Men' guide developed by the Australian Men's Health Forum.


Key points discussed at the Allied Mates Forum will be summarised and shared with all participants along with peak service providers, organisations and Government for consideration when designing services to support men experiencing life challenges.


Morning Tea and light lunch will be provided.
